Thank you Max, I'm glad you found the information relevant and that you saw how useful it could be for an artist/band. I know through my own experiences that using all of these tools together greatly amplified my promotional efforts. Having all of these different accounts also makes it very easy for people to find you in the SERPs. In regards to your question, I haven't used Eventful yet for my own purposes, but the value is definitely there. They give you the option to sign up through your Facebook account and from there you can create a new performer profile. It allows people in your geographic region to become aware of any events you are putting on. This is something I would recommend adding to the toolkit

Kevin - really great and informative post. I learned a lot not only about how to leverage social media for building community and awareness about a band (or artist in general) but also about the amazing tools that are out there to support artists and the promotion of their work. This is definitely a post I'll recommend to folks who are artists and want to get a leg up on how to promote themselves online. In regard to other platforms, what about Eventful? Thanks again for putting this together!
